Author Biography

Brent Wilson is an Australian illustrator whose work puts a playful new spin on classic mid-century cartoon aesthetic. His quirky characters regularly appear in the pages of Australian publications. He also illustrates children’s books, including Shae Millward’s Koalas Like To ..., which was a finalist in the 2021 Australian Book Design Awards.

Trent Jamieson has written award-winning books for kids and grown-ups. He works in a bookstore, and loves reading, and talking about books almost as much as he loves writing them. When he isn’t writing, or reading, or selling books, he is trying very hard not to pop balloons: it isn’t easy.
