Overview

What if we take four real-life girls, and make them the heroes of a story? Four real-life girls, with real-life joys and problems, with all their strengths and weaknesses, their adventures and their troubles. And all the real-life warmth and richness of their hearts and minds too. Louisa May Alcott made this exact experiment 150 years ago – and it worked. Her Little Women became one of the most loved and famous books in the whole history of literature. This captivating retelling is a great introduction to the classics for very young readers, with lively text and unique mixed media illustrations offering a modern touch.
