Author Biography

Graduate of the Ecole Speciale d'Architecture in Paris, Marwan Kahil attended the workshop of Graphic Arts of Simon Boudvin, a true workshop of theoretical and practical reflection on drawing and imagery. Marwan found an early passion for writing. He won a screenwriting competition at the Angoulême International Comics Festival in 2006 and then collaborated with the Festival first as an artistic assistant director, then as a set designer and speaker, along with top European artists. He is currently working on several projects of graphic novels and comics as well as on several projects for movies and theater. Ariel Vittori's been saying she would get paid to draw someday, ever since she was 12 - and that started to happen about five years later. By now she can count among her past and present clients Mondadori, Disney, Campari, has done food illustration for gourmet events and various comics and she has collaborated as an interpreter at the prestigious Idea Academy, where she had the pleasure to work and study with the great teachers of the industry: Nathan Fowkes, Gianluca Garofalo, Jim Moore, Julia Sardà.. She hopes one day to have hair so long it touches the floor, to catch every Pokémon, and to be able to leave her mark on the world by leaving marks on paper (and on screen).
