Just because I am a girl does not mean I like the color pink, so declares the fashion-forward, independent-minded young lady in I Don't Like Pink - a story about about a well-dressed little girl who does not fit the norm. She does not like the color pink, or does she? Children and adults will fall in love with the whimsical illustrations and independence of this character.

Author Biography

John Petersen is the author and illustrator of I Don't Like Pink! (WriteLife, 2010). He is also a freelance artist for companies such as Nordstrom and Threepluscreative in New York City. John also enjoys handcrafting jewelry, which he sells in his own line, Gunner and Lux. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with his husband William and his daughter Riley, who continues to provide inspiration for future books.
