Overview

Healthy Air is designed to help parents and teachers familiarize children ages 5-8 with habits of healthy living. The stories were developed with both American Cancer Society guidelines and the National Health Education Standards in mind, and have been kid-tested and parent- and teacher-approved.Healthy Air updates familiar fairy tales from diverse cultures and weaves in healthy-living messages, while also emphasizing positive character development. Activities throughout the book entertain children and reinforce the stories' messages. Designed to compliment the health curriculum for students in kindergarten through second grade, all Healthy Me stories are available in individual, topic-specific editions containing three stories each.
