Taking place in Denmark, this play tells how Prince Hamlet carries out his revenge on his uncle Claudio, who had killed his father, the king, married his mother, Gertrudis, and flaunted the Danish crown. This work is vividly traced around madness and explores issues such as treason, revenge, incest and moral corruption.
