First Day

Margaret Wild is one of Australia's most respected picture-book creators, and her award-winning books are loved by children all over the world. Margaret has published more than 70 picture books for young children and she has been the recipient of the Nan Chauncy Award and the Lady Cutler Award for her contributions to Australian children's literature. Kim Gamble was one of Australia's leading illustrators for children, and is particularly remembered as the illustrator of Anna and Barbara Fienberg's Tashi stories.
