Overview

In Montreal, as in all cities, couples get together and break up, people attract and repel each other in a perpetual waltz of bodies. These 21 short stories show the different types and phases of romantic relationships and desire, regardless of gender, sexuality, age, or condition—these are explosive breakups, resigned friends with benefits, acquaintances who get together, childhood loves, unceasing desires, and incomprehensible webs of polyamory.

Author Biography

Julie Maroh is a French illustrator and author. She is the author of Blue is the Warmest Color, which was adapted into film that won the Palme d'Or at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. She is also the author of Skandalon.
