This life story is hardly conventional, with Josep Rius-Camps's seminary studies and theology studies in Rome and Germany, before a return to Catalonia and a move to a hermitage near Barcelona. This book surprises the reader with the depth of Rius-Camps's interests, intuitions, and experiences, made up of both exterior facts and interior events.
