Margaret McAllister is the author of over forty books for children, from funny things for under fives to teen fiction and everything in between – animals, history, funny, scary. For Lion she has written vivid re-tellings of Bible stories and tales of the saints, and her newest book, The Good Thing About Bad Days is to help young readers through the tough times that jump out and bite us.Margaret lives in beautiful Northumberland with her husband, a retired Methodist minister. They have lived in five different places in the North-East and Yorkshire while bringing up three children who have turned out surprisingly well.
