Author Biography

Barry Green is the director of a young bassist program for the San Francisco Symphony and teaches privately at the University of California–Santa Cruz. He is the former principal bassist of the Cincinnati Symphony and the executive director of the International Society of Bassists. He is the author of The Mastery of Music: Ten Pathways to True Artistry and the coauthor of The Inner Game of Music and The Popular Bass Method. He lives in El Cerrito, California. Don Campbell is the founder of the Institute of Music, Health, and Education and he has worked with musicians such as Jean Houston and Leonard Bernstein. He is the author of Creating for Harmony and The Mozart Effect. He lives in Boulder, Colorado.
