Author Biography

Katie Mockridge is an artist and illustrator currently based in Bristol. She loves to illustrate people and takes inspiration from pop culture while also reflecting current world issues. She likes to explore LGBTQ+ culture and also show body positivity and diversity throughout her art. Although specializing in digital work, she also enjoys experimenting with gouache and ink to create her illustrations. Retro aesthetics and culture are a strong influence within her work with her use of pattern and color. Katie feels that she has found her space within illustration and is pleased to be able to share it with others.
