Arissa Media Group a project of the Institute for Critical Animal Studies, is an all-volunteer collective sharing the voices in social justice you won’t hear anywhere else. Rather than pursuing popular or privileged writers, we strive to work with authors whose scholarship, ideas, and stories wouldn’t otherwise be published. Our publications span a range of social justice issues because we are passionate about fighting all forms of oppression and finding intersections wherever possible. AMG peer-reviews all works and favors nuanced but jargon-free writing that stresses praxis.
