Dr. Adrian Fox is head of mapping and geographic information at British Antarctic Survey, cochair of the international Scientific Committee on Antarctic Geographic Information, and a member of the UK Antarctic Place-names Committee. The British Antarctic Survey has undertaken the majority of Britain's scientific research on and around the Antarctic continent for more than 60 years. It employs more than 400 staff, and supports three research stations in the Antarctic.
