Author Biography

John Boynton Priestley he gained a degree from Cambridge University after fighting in the infantry in World War I. He wrote successful articles and essays, then published the first of many novels, The Good Companions. After first play, Dangerous Corner, he went on to write 50 more, including Time and the Conways, I Have Been There Before, When We Are Married, and An Inspector Calls.
