Overview

A calendar year summed up in a rhyming story from the inimitable duo

Discover the most entertaining way to spend the year: with a spot of spring cleaning (that ends in a mess), a summer picnic (invaded by ants), Halloween dress-up (or not, if you’re already scary) and the only thing to be done in December . . .

Reviews

"Revels in a kind of bonkers Englishness." —Evening Standard, Best Books of 2017

"This heartwarming book takes us through the calendar year and a rhyming story reflects each month wonderfully... Blake's immediately recognisable flourish gives this book instant appeal and his stamp on anything suggests quality and humour" - - INIS

"Very funny, with lots of gentle humour and earthy illustrations from Quentin Blake that really capture the fizz and farce of close family life." - - Booktrust

"A book to treasure all year round" - Andrea Reece - Lovereading4Kids, Book of the Month October 2017

"Exuberantly illustrated" - Fiona Noble - The Bookseller
