Accounts Receivable Analyst I – Returns

Overview

The AR Analyst I – Returns would be responsible for analyzing, processing and finalizing product returns from our customers. This position is a key part of the accounts receivable department, ensuring that return quantities, details, and costs are accurately reported. They communicate with both customers and publishers to ensure all damages, shortages, and other reasons for the return of materials are correctly accounted for and credited.

Responsibilities and Duties

Process received return files and generate credits to customer accounts; standard format, EDI and Canadian Returns
Perform analysis of returns received vs. returns claimed by customer
Respond to customer inquiries regarding returns and other chargeback claims
Interact and partner with multiple internal departments, customers and publishers in timely and professional manner.
Application of return credits and cash application
Assist in inquires for statements, invoices and credits or other items that come through shared inbox or ticketing system.
All other duties as assigned within the AR department

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail, self-starter and keen problem-solving abilities
Experience processing returns or minimum of an Associates degree
Goal-oriented - holds themself accountable to achieving shared and personal goals
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers and external vendors
Physical abilities. Ability to sit for long periods of time in an office environment.
