Author Biography

Matthew D. McCabe is a visiting professor of exercise science at Tiffin University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management with a concentration in exercise science from Wilmington College, his master’s degree in clinical exercise physiology from Ohio University, and his doctoral degree in health education from the University of Cincinnati. Richard Parsons is a professor of counselor education at West Chester University and has over 37 years of experience in teaching counselor preparation programs. He has had a private clinical practice for over 40 years, working with those experiencing debilitating anxiety, depression, and other challenges to emotional wellbeing. Dr. Parsons also serves as a consultant to educational and mental health institutions in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. He has authored or co-authored over 90 books, book chapters, and professional articles. Dr. Parsons earned his master’s and doctoral degrees from Temple University. Bradley R. A. Wilson is a professor of health promotion and education at the University of Cincinnati. He earned his master’s in business administration and his Ph.D. in exercise science from Michigan State University. Dr. Wilson has authored or co-authored over 60 papers and book chapters on health care in the U.S., kinesiology, the health and fitness industry, healthy lifestyles, performance-enhancing drugs, and more. He has presented on health and exercise topics throughout the U.S., Europe, South America, and Asia.
