Emanuel di Pasquale was born in Sicily in 1943 and came to America in 1957. After earning an MA in English from NYU, he became an English Professor. He continues to teach at Middlesex County College, in New Jersey. His first poetry book, Genesis, was published by Boa Editions in 1989. In 2003 he published a book for children, Cartwheel to the Moon (Cricket Books). Some other books: The Ocean's Will (Guernica, 2013), Self-Portrait (NYQ Books, 2014). di Pasquale also translates Italian poetry into English. He is the Poet Laureate of Long Branch, NJ.
