Overview

3D Disneyland: Like You've Never Seen It Before showcases a rare, never-before-seen collection of 3D photographs of Walt Disney’s theme park in all its glory.

Disneyland is captured in “time and space” from opening week in July 1955 through the 25th Anniversary in 1980. See attractions that no longer exist like the Skyway to Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, the original Submarine Voyage, Conestoga Wagons, and more along with vantage points that have changed drastically over the decades.

3D Disneyland: Like You've Never Seen It Before is full of memories for some and a glimpse into the past for those too young to have visited Disneyland at its beginnings. It will enthrall theme park fans of all ages with its stunning three-dimensional views of a bygone era at the original Disneyland park. 3D Glasses Included!

Reviews

"When do you get a chance to travel in time and see Disneyland like it was in years past? Ted Kierscey’s 3D photos do just that and it’s magical!” —Don Hahn

"Photos of the park in its earliest years are abundant, but color photos are a little less common. Even rarer are 3D photographs and in Dave Bossert’s newest book, Disney history fans will get that opportunity to step in a time machine and see Disneyland in the 1950s not only in color but in stereoscopic splendor in 3D Disneyland: Like You’ve Never Seen It Before." —Alex Reif, Laughing Place

"3D Disneyland Marks the Most Unique Disney Book This Holiday Season; Disney fans love a book that adds extra depth to their understanding of the theme parks, but rarely does the book contain literal depth." —Nathan Hartman, WDW News Today

"Looking at each image one can hear the clip-clop of the horse’s hooves, laughter along the streets, music coming from each land, and the sound of people enjoying themselves. 3D Disneyland is a dreamy book that takes the reader on an escape." —Chuck Mirarchi, Disney Matters

"The House of the Future isn’t a book about what Disney got right or wrong, but readers will find adequate evidence that he and his visionary team were on the right track more often than not. Bossert presents the story from the inception of the idea to completion and later renovations, incorporating images of all sorts of ephemera, like marketing collateral and corporate brag pieces. You’ll find concept artwork and engineering drawings created by Monsanto scientists, engineers, and chemists as they created this unique eight-part spoke and hub building, intended to be affordably priced and replicated in the post-war years when the housing market was booming." —CJ Bunce, Borg.com
