Author Biography
Satoshi Kitamura is a Japanese writer and illustrator. He has published many books for children, most of which have been translated into different languages. In 1983, he won the Mother Goose award for his book Fernando Furioso. That book also earned his Japan’s award for illustrated books. In 2000, his book ¿Mi gato y yo? earned him the prestigious Smarties prize.
