Overview

Since its founding in 1957, the Deutsche Bundesbank has been collecting modern art and displaying it in its branches: paintings, sculptures, and installations by established artists as well as promising newcomers. This new book depicts more than 100 works of art and introduces their creators in short biographies, among them such famous artists as Max Ernst, Joan Miró, Victor Vasarely, and Rupprecht Geiger—an overview of the last 60 years of modern art.
