Rosamund Kidman Cox was the editor of BBC Wildlife Magazine for 23 years. She is the coeditor of books including Frozen Planet, Life, and Planet Earth for BBC Books. She is an editor and writer, specializing in wildlife and environmental issues and with a particular interest in photography. She was editor of Wildlife Magazine, subsequently BBC Wildlife Magazine, for 23 years and has been a judge of the competition since 1981, launching it in its current form. She is on the executive committee of the International League of Conservation Photographers.
