Author Biography

John Julius Norwich is a writer and a leading historian whose books include Absolute Monarchs, The Great Cities in History, and The Middle Sea. Quentin Blake is one of today's most popular and best-loved children's illustrators. He has won the Whitbread Award, the Kate Greenaway Medal, and the Emil/Kurt Maschler Award, among numerous others. They previously collaborated on The Illustrated Christmas Cracker.
