Author Biography

LOIS ROCK has established an international reputation as a children's writer. Specialising in Bible stories, prayer books, and information books, her books have been translated into over 30 languages with sales of 4 million copies.Sophie Allsopp spent her childhood endlessly painting, sewing, cutting, and sticking - basically making stuff all the time (except when she was exploring). She studied for an illustration degree in Bath, then set up an illustration business with help from the Prince's Youth Business Trust, which has flourished with a wide range of clients ever since. In her spare time she still makes stuff - jewellery, dresses and needle felting (amongst other things!)
