The History Press is the UK’s largest local and specialist history publisher. Our oldest imprint, Phillimore, was founded in 1897 and together our publishing businesses have over 200 years’ experience. Since then we have grown steadily and now have sizeable offices in France, Germany, Ireland and the USA; but the heart of the business remains where it started, in rural Gloucestershire.
Imprint: THP Ireland is the Irish imprint of the History Press Group. Based in Dublin, and publishing books on all aspects of Ireland and Irish history, it is fast becoming the largest and most well-known local history publisher in the country.
