Stillwater Publishing is an independent company founded in 2000. We focus on children's nonfiction and over the years we have won many awards for our series called Take A Walk books.
Awards include the National Arbor Day Foundation's Education Award, two Teacher's Choice Awards, one ForeWord Magazine. Our K-12 Teacher's Guide, No Student left Indoors:Creating a Field Guide to Your Schoolyard, is also an award-winning book.
