Author Biography

POWA (People Opposing Women Abuse) provides counseling, legal advice, court support, and shelter to women survivors of domestic violence. Its vision is to create a safe society that does not tolerate violence against women, where women are powerful, self-reliant, equal, and respected. POWA’s mission is to be a specialized and multiskilled service provider that contributes to the complete eradication of violence against women in society.
