Four good friends share a common passion—they all hate math. As they complain about it on their way home from school, the King of Math appears and whisks away Alice, one of the kids. Jimmy, Colby, and Sam decide to rescue their friend, but to enter into the Math King's world, they must first pass through 20 gates, guarded by 20 great mathematicians. In order to save Alice, they must solve some math problems, learning lessons along the way about the discovery of zero, Roman numerals, fractions, and rational and irrational numbers.
