Uma Kapila is a senior editor at the Academic Foundation and the author and editor of Indian economy textbooks. S. S. Johl is an eminent Indian agronomist and the president of the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics. He has chaired several high-level committees, authored and edited numerous publications, and published more than 300 papers in national and international journals.
