Author Daniel Liut is an aeronautical engineer with a PhD in engineering mechanics from Virginia Tech. He has always had an interest in science, languages, and philosophy, as well as a passion for fantasy and science fiction. His love for nature occasionally takes him skiing, or surfing the mild waves of the Delaware beaches. But it is at home, by the Chesapeake Bay, where both family and nature merge as a quiet yet powerful source of inspiration.
