Marketing Associate - Triumph Books

Triumph Books is seeking a full-time Marketing Associate to assist in the Marketing department’s promotional efforts of their front and back list titles. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, this individual will pursue dynamic marketing objectives on a title by title basis as well as participate in creation of marketing campaign verbiage, attend department brainstorm sessions, and help achieve title campaign objectives and annual goals. 

Salary: $30,000

The Ideal Candidate Would Be:

  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Technologically-savvy, with experience in website editing, Microsoft Suite, and Adobe In-Design
  • Has experience in social media management – Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram
  • Has experience in event planning and research encouraged
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects
  • Team player & professional attitude, ability to work with a variety of personalities
  • Enthusiasm for books / sports a bonus

Primary Tasks Include:

  • Maintain company profiles on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram by staying current on trends as they apply to Triumph's products and brand.
  • Keep up overall organization of products on the website and set up specialized promotions.
  • Design digital and print marketing materials for book and author event promotions using InDesign and Photoshop. This includes social graphics, promotional postcards, bookmarks, flyers, posters, magnets, banner and sidebar ads, etc.
  • Research and execute special revenue-generating opportunities for special-project titles.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for authors on the promotions side of the campaign. Send introduction email and schedule initial conference calls.
  • Create organizational documents and support Marketing Manager in ongoing initiatives.
  • Prep work for getting instant championship books up on the website immediately following the game, including activating product page and blasting out on social platforms night-of the game.
  • Coordinate select author events, which includes scheduling around the author's commitments, event checks, production and mailing of posters and flyers, and following up with store and authors post-event.
  • Assist Marketing Manager in focused promotions of Triumph Books’ eBooks and book fair planning.
