Practical Psychology Press

Practical Psychology Press

Practical Psychology Press was founded in Portland, Oregon, as a one-title press in 1986 by the late Al Siebert, PhD, a pioneer in the field of Resiliency Psychology. That book was the first iteration of The Adult Student's Guide to Survival and Success, currently in its sixth edition, which was awarded National Best Books Finalist in the 2008 USA Book News Education/Academic category. We continue to offer and develop several books, media, and websites of Dr. Siebert's works on resiliency and thriving in a world of non-stop change, including Independent Publisher's 2006 Best Self-Help Book, The Resiliency Advantage.
