Founded in 2011, Moonrise Media is a newly established multi-media company representing authors, film makers, and fine artists from its home base on the Island of Martha's Vineyard.
Founder and President Carrie Fyler received her Ph.D. in marine parasitology from the University of Connecticut in 2009, and is published in multiple scientific journals.
Moonrise Media's first publication, JAWS: Memories From Martha's Vineyard, with foreword by director Steven Spielberg, has received worldwide acclaim since its release in June 2011. Moonrise Media represents Paul McPhee, one of the nation's premiere marine life artists. McPhee's work has been featured in major galleries and exhibitions nationwide.
