Mogzilla

Mogzilla was started in 2004 in London, UK in order to grow a list of original children’s books. A mere ‘minnow in the shark pool of publishing’, Mogzilla doesn’t ape the approach of larger publishers. Instead it concentrates on a select list of titles, building them slowly over time. Mogzilla’s first series was Robin Price’s Spartapuss Tales—set in ancient Rome in a world ruled by cats.

Mogzilla has a history of working with new talent. Our picture books include the work of illustrators Woodrow Phoenix on Count Milkula and Craig Conlan on Santa Claus is on a Diet.

Newcomer Paul McGrory made his debut in 2010 on the graphic novel London Deep, This was picked as a Recommended Read for World Book Day 2011. 2011 will see the launch of Haywired by debut Steampunk author Alex Keller.
