ClearGrape is passionate about pisco —and believe it has all the right components to become the next major category in spirits. We are already working with others involved in pisco to increase the size, scope and reputation of the pisco category in the US—an undertaking that requires a better understanding of where this spirit comes from, how it is made, and why it is unique.
Toward that end, we have recently published The Pisco Book a comprehensive guide that describes pisco’s ancient history, cultural traditions, production techniques, and its rebirth in popularity across the US. And it includes 50 pisco cocktail recipes contributed by top bar chef/mixologists in Peru and the US.
