Author Biography
F. Alvero Frances was a professor at the University of Havana, and he dedicated his life to the study of linguistics, spelling, and grammar. He joined the French faculty in the Institute of Modern languages at the University of Havana, and taught Spanish at various levels at the Spanish Institute in Bayonne. The Spanish government appointed him delegate to the International Congress of Secondary Education in Patic in 1937. Between 1942 and 1948 he worked on the methodology of teaching language, giving lectures to both teachers and students. He reached the rank of full professor by 1970 when he was honored for his 25 years of teaching.
