Overview

Richard Polsky's seriously hilarious book Boneheads: My Search for T. Rex leads us deep into the South Dakota Badlands where he discovers a lost tribeâ€â€the Boneheadsâ€â€and becomes one of them. This oddball group of dinosaur hunters is intent on bagging the Holy Grail of the profession: a Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton. Fewer than 50 skeletons have ever been found, but one of them brought $8.3 million at Sotheby's.

Author Biography

Richard Polsky is the author of The Art Prophets, I Bought Andy Warhol, and I Sold Andy Warhol (Too Soon). He has also written for a diverse group of art world publications, including Art & Auction, Art in America, The Art Economist, and currently writes for Western Art & Architecture. He lives in Sausalito, California.
