Author Biography

John Howard Griffin was a critically-acclaimed novelist and essayist, and a dynamic lecturer and teacher. Internationally respected as a human rights activist, Griffin worked with Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Dick Gregory during the Civil Rights era. Robert Bonazzi is the author of Griffin's biography, Man in the Mirror. As representative for the Griffin Estate, he has edited and introduced Griffin's work and written about him for numerous publications, including The New York Times. He lives in San Francisco, California.
