Birdsong Books is an independent publisher of natural science children’s picture books founded in 1998. Our focus is on presenting kid-friendly information combined with beautifully realistic illustrations about North American wildlife and habitats. Our award-winning books include several pages of back matter suitable for use in the elementary classroom.

Birdsong Books seeks to spark the delight of discovery among young children. We believe that knowledge and understanding of nature close to home fosters caring and a desire to protect the Earth and all living things.
