Author BiographyJared Garrett has a MA in teaching and a Teaching English as a Second Language certificate. He has taught in Japanese, Taiwanese, and Alaskan high schools. He was adjunct faculty at Brigham Young University for five years. He is a literacy expert and taught writing and literature during his time in Alaska. He currently lives in Black Diamond, Washington. He is the author of Beyond the Cabin and Beat, and he received an Honorable Mention in the Writers of the Future contest.
