His photographs have appeared in a variety of publications, including Bird Watcher's Digest, Birding, Living Bird Magazine, and on the Today Show. He lives in New York City. Brian E. Small has been a full-time professional bird and nature photographer for more than 20 years. He served as the photo editor for the American Birding Association's membership magazine Birding for the past 15 years. He lives in Los Angeles.
